Te Whanau-a-Apanui, Ngati Porou, Studied at Elam Art School, majoring in Te Toi Hou.

Jo is an artist and educator living in Rotorua, she has been teaching art for 15 years at high school level. Her art brings a fresh loose style, always layered in meaning, drawing inspiration from her identity and quest to normalise Te Reo Maori.
